Shout out to my boy @CheesePolitics for connecting the dots with the printing resource- now I’m one step away from completion. Mark your calendar- the official release date for the tees is Monday, April 2nd (12p PST).
A few weeks ago my buddy, and amazingly talented artist (of many genres) Maceo Paisley, asked me to participate in a new interview series he was conducting for his site Citizens of Culture. Since we are friends and have collaborated a few times on different projects, what I expected to be a formal interview was more of conversation, and at some point I forgot I was being recorded. We touched on many topics from my designs influences to my thoughts as a consumer- he even gave me some pointers as a new photographer. All in all, it was a great experience.
Thanks again Maceo for the consideration and for the awesome photos.
This really made me smile! Manabu posted some pictures of his lovely wife Keiko wearing The Essential Cap in Japan on his blog. I love how she effortlessly makes it look so cool and feminine. Thank you for the support you two!
Today I went home from work with what I considered to be a “killer headache”. Upon my arrival (and to my surprise) was a big package addressed allllllllllll the way from Japan patiently waiting to cheer me up- in which it did (all of a sudden I became numb to my “killer headache”). Inside the box was the beautifully packaged “Waxed Rucksack” from Southern Field Industries that I blogged about a few days ago. Don’t worry, I will be providing more information (with BETTER pictures) on this bag soon. But until then, allow me to enjoy the fact that as of now, I’m the only one in the USA with this one. #ThankYouSweatBabyJesus
